Hello and thank you so much for visiting my site. This site is about creativity, inspiration and education. My hope is that this site will inspire you to discover what your creative talent is so you can begin a new and happy chapter in your life. My name is Carrie and as my business name indicates, I love to create and make many different things.
My belief is that life is more beautiful when your talents are shared and taught to others.
My Story
NYC is where I was born and Woodside, Queens is where I was raised. While living in New York, I worked as a legal secretary at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton until one day decided to move to the country in Maine for a simpler and quieter life. I am married and have five amazing children who are all adults now and have 3 amazing grandchildren. While in Maine I attained my nursing degree and worked as a registered nurse for many years in different areas of the field.
This year I am making the transition from full time nurse to full-time business owner. I retired from institutional nursing two years ago but because of financial reasons, had to go back to work. I am presently working as a homecare nurse with the intention of completely handing over my nurse’s cap to my daughter who is also a registered nurse. Take this fun journey with me as I make the transition from nursing to developing my home business as a full-time adventure.
Another thing I am going to promote on this site is that it is never too late to start a new dream. As long as you have the breath of life, do not let anyone tell you that you are too old to do what you want to do,
